Prof. Alan Dilani Ph.D Academy for Design & Health, Sweden
Dr Alan Dilani is founder of the International Academy for
Design & Health and World Health Design journal, author of many books, articles and research papers on salutogenic design. Dr Dilani has been engaged worldwide in several universities in the field of design and health developing “Salutogenic design program”, both in medical and design institutions. Awarded by American Institute of Architects for his high quality research in the built environment.
Professor Khoo Teng Chye, Ph.D Director, NUS Cities , Singapore
Prof. Khoo Teng Chye is Director, NUS Cities and Practice Professor with the College of Design and Engineering at the National University of Singapore (NUS). He was formerly the Executive Director for the Centre for Liveable Cities, Ministry of National Development (MND)(2010 to
2020), Singapore and continues to be a Fellow at CLC. He was the Chief Executive Officer/Chief Planner at the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) (1992 to 1996), Chief Executive Officer/Group President of PSA Corporation.
Arch. Jerry ONG, Group Chief at NUHS National University
Group Chief Infrastructure Officer of NUHS, Jerry head the NUHS Corporate Infrastructure Office which oversees all NUHS infrastructure developments and projects, including infrastructure planning and design, project management, governance, policies, contracts, space planning. Prior this position Jerry Ong was Senior Vice President of the Healthcare Division at CPG Consultants, a multi-disciplinary consultancy providing a full spectrum of design, development development and management services.
Arch. Tiah Nan Chyuan Vice President SIA
Nan Chyuan graduated from the National University of Singapore and the Architectural Association in London. He is a Director at FARM, a cross disciplinary design practice that won the President’s Design Award Design of the Year in 2010. Nan Chyuan was also recognized as one of Singapore’s emerging architects in URA’s third edition of “20 Under 45” exhibition. Beyond practice, He is currently vice president of the Singapore Institute of Architects serving in the Education Thrust, where he has been a Council Member since 2019.
Professor Heng Chye Kiang, Ph.D. Deputy Dean , College of Design and E
Professor Heng Chye Kiang is the Provost’s Professor at the College of Design and Engineering, National University of Singapore, where he was the former Dean of School of Design and Environment (SDE) (2007 to 2016) and the Head of its Department of Architecture prior to his deanship. He teaches and researches urban history, sustainable urban design and planning, and publishes widely in these areas. Professor Heng has served on the boards of government agencies including the URA, HDB, CLC, JTC, BCA.
Associate Professor Ruzica Bozovic Stamenovic Department of Architecture
Dr Ruzica Bozovic Stamenovic is Associate Professor at the Department of Architecture, National University of Singapore. Her research and teaching focuses on human ecology, health-restoring design theory and practices, and design for wellness in contemporary urban settings and mega-mature societies. She served as Deputy Head and Leader of Urbanism Research Cluster and was Faculty Fellow of The Centre for Health Systems and Design, Texas A&M University, Executive Board Member of the UIA Public Health Group and GUPHA (Global University Programs in Healthcare Architecture).
Professor Jeffrey Hou, Ph.D. Head of Department of Architecture , NUS
Professor Jeff Hou has worked with indigenous tribes, farmers, fishers, and villagers in Asia and inner-city immigrant youths and elders in North American cities, on projects ranging from the conservation of wildlife habitats to bottom-up urban placemaking. Before his appointment as the Head of the Department at DOA in 2024, Hou was Professor of Landscape Architecture and led the Urban Commons Lab at the University of Washington (UW), Seattle. He served as Chair of Landscape Architecture at UW from 2009 to 2017.
Associate Peofessor Emi Kiyota, Ph.D. Center for Population Health
Dr Emi Kiyota is an Associate Professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and College of Design and Engineering, and Deputy Executive Director, Centre for Population Health at the National University of Singapore. She is an environmental gerontologist, consultant and organizational culture change specialist, with more than 20 years of experience in designing and implementing person-centered care practice in long-term care facilities and hospitals globally. Her contributions include a vast array of national and international initiatives.

Er. Yong Seow Kin, Director Facilities Development , Singapore Health
Seow Kin oversees the design and development of healthcare infrastructure facilities in the biggest public healthcare cluster in Singapore. Seow Kin has more than 30 years of experience in the development and management of infrastructure facilities, of which 20 years are in the healthcare industry. Her other experience includes developing and managing high tech semiconductor facilities, advanced pharmaceutical manufacturing plants and world renowned airport. The high standards demanded in these facilities have given her a solid foundation in developing high quality healthcare facilities.
Dr. Calvin W. Luk, Ph.D. The Hong Kong Polytechnic University
Dr. Calvin W. Luk is Acting Director and Project Manager- Spatial Team Leader of Jockey Club Design Institute for Social Innovation, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He develops and leads community participatory action research on topics spanning Universal Accessibility, Inclusive Design for people with disabilities, Therapeutic landscape for Dementia, and Environmental assessment of care facilities for older persons. He engages extensively in community and urban infrastructure projects, including the government Rehabilitation Policy Plan and Occupational safety & health study for aged workers.
